New Budgeting Module Launched

The Really Real Time® Inquiry Suite Budgeting module has recently been launched. JD Edwards has the ability to store budgeting and forecasting data, thanks to its extensible ledger types, however the mechanism for updating these is via a batch process, which undermines any real time capability. The new module overcomes this deficiency and has a true real time budgeting and forecasting capability.
This module easily allows you to get all levels of staff involved with the budgeting process. ‘Contributors’ can submit budget or forecast data; ‘Finalizers’ can mark submissions as finalzed; ‘Controllers can perform uploads of their submissions to JD Edwards and ‘Supervisors’ can manage the overall budget activity. A status display makes it easy to see the progress of every participant in the cycle, and highlights the next step.
