"Really Real Time? technology has provided us with a fast & dynamic interrogation & reporting tool for general ledger & budgeting. Really Real Time? Inquiry Suite has given us the flexibility to react quickly to information requests and we have also used it as a platform for key development issues such as providing templates for Budgeting (given the ease with which answer sets can be dropped into spreadsheets). The functionality also allows us to standardize on certain reporting requirements since we can set up query shells (profiles) and e-mail these to be used as standard templates throughout the organization. Corporately we have made extensive use of Category codes on both Business Units and Object Accounts within J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne. Really Real Time? Inquiry Suite complements this with its ability to report using these codes and with Ordering / Sequencing we can report quickly at either operational or managerial levels. Future developments on Chart of Accounts Level of Detail will also allow us to create hierarchical subjective reports."
