North American User Group Meeting a Success

On September 20-22, 2007, over 80 customers joined The GL Company staff for the First Annual North American User Group Meeting in San Diego, California. The event, which spanned a day and a half of product demonstrations, proved both enlightening and enjoyable for those in attendance.
The event kicked off with a welcome reception that included a tropical dinner menu and the soothing sounds of a local guitar artist. Customers were able to enjoy a drink at the bar while networking with other users of the Inquiry Suite.
The full day kicked off the following morning with a general session outlining the history of The GL Company and the Really Real Time Inquiry Suite from Nick Gomersall, VP of Sales and Marketing in the UK. Paul Yarwood, US General Manager and Julie Holmes, Midwest Account Manager highlighted the new features of release 8.1. Matt Haggleston of Willbros offered an excellent customer case study highlighting how his company has harnessed the power of the Inquiry Suite in their specific processes and procedures.
Wendy Harmon, Customer Support Manager gave specific updates outlining the recent developments in the customer support department. Next, John Brooks, Director of Strategic Accounts, held a best practices roundtable and addressed the latest developments in training and services.
The rest of the afternoon consisted of several breakout sessions that included Real Estate, Sales, Inventory and Purchasing, Tips and Tricks, Real Time Budgeting, Enterprise Deployment Strategies, Homebuilder, Integrity and Business Reporting, and Much More Than an Admin tool. The GL Company team was pleased to include live customer case presentations with Kelly Bonhomme of Tetra Technologies and Stacey Smith from The Shaw Group.
The final morning of the conference allowed attendees to join The GL Company team for breakfast and have one-on-one time to ask specific questions.
