The GL Company Announces the Availability of Human Resources and Payroll Modules for the Inquiry Suite for JD Edwards

The GL Company, the leader in the Accounting Intelligence market, announces the availability of the new Human Resources (HR) and Payroll modules for the Really Real Time Inquiry Suite for JD Edwards World and EnterpriseOne. In most organizations, the HR and payroll areas have extensive external and internal reporting requirements. To address these reporting challenges, The GL Company has added the HR and Payroll modules to its real-time inquiry, consolidation and reporting solution for JD Edwards.
All of the Inquiry Suite modules, including the HR and Payroll modules, enable end users to run previously time-consuming reports in just seconds and create their own customized real-time inquiries for rapid review and analysis without assistance from IT. Among the benefits of the HR and Payroll modules are the ability to aggregate employee information easily, bring information from all files into one inquiry, perform ad-hoc research rapidly, and perform integrity checking and data validation. End users can easily format reports as needed for upload or delivery to management using the HR and Payroll modules.
The government office of Washtenaw County, Michigan, a current user of The GL Company's Inquiry Suite, quickly acquired and installed the new HR and Payroll modules after a demonstration of the solutions. "We were looking for a reporting tool that would provide accurate, detailed payroll data in a timely manner, and the Inquiry Suite HR and Payroll modules definitely answer that need", said Jonette Gibson, Payroll Manager, Washtenaw County.
The new solutions enable ad hoc research and detailed reporting that was not possible before the Inquiry Suite, according to Gibson. "One report that previously took five hours takes only a half hour using the Inquiry Suite. An example of the new reports that we have created easily with the new Payroll module is the arrearage report. We now have pay-period to pay-period arrearage totals with all the payment data and grand totals per employee right at our finger tips", explained Gibson.
